wow, these were the 2 split rock males. he died of bovine tb and his brother eventually went missing and was never seen again. there gene's are out there though... in many other lions including SOLO who would be about 4yrs old now and forming a coalition of his own.

@angelx55555 if people can't live forever, and so many of us die in hospitals..he is no more special than we are. Don't treat that lion like he is greater than us, rather respect the creature, him and you are not so different. There will come a time when you cannot be saved, I doubt you'll still hate science
