Nobody had the balls that The Kaiser had. 33 years later, his Innsbruck run is still breathtaking to watch.

I can imagine skiing isn't as popular as in alpine countries, but ski resorts are pretty crowded in the winter here in the US. I enjoy excellence and used to enjoy seeing Tomba. I was disappointed in Miller at the Olympics.

I'm not good at remembering names, but will never forget Franz Klammer. Anyone I have sent the video to has impressed. Must have been exciting being an Austrian in 76'.

I remember seeing Innsbrook in 76' and often come back to watch that vid, since it was thrilling to see back then, and again here. I'm not the biggest Olympic or skiing fan but that run by Klammer will always stick in my mind, so good to see other races.

Great to hear that also some americans like to watch skiing downhill, because I know that it isn't that popular in your country.
BTW: IMO the racers nowadays are at a totally different level, just watch Bode Miller riding on one Ski, and so on...
Greetings from Austria ( i live near Innsbruck ^^)

at that time it was too crazy to describe because the slope was in so bad condition, it is still crazy but the slope is in much better condition..
