Never said I met him. I said, it is a great loss to society. We have too many who blindly follow government, religion, etc. He was a thinker. He put his money where his mouth was. He was a true journalist unlike the majority of what people call journalists today. It just so happened that he was instrumental in my becoming Atheist, and therefore I personally am saddened by his departure. However, for society as a whole…As I said, what a loss.

There will be a lot more videos made of past footage, quotes and such. You could even make some yourself if you haven't already, in honor of the man. In honor of all rational, freethinking, Atheists. The world won't get enough of Hitch until long after we're all dead. Flood the world with great videos. Force the religious to build arks that they can rot in until they sink to the bottom of reality's ocean.

@muffinman514 he will live on through memory in the form of books and videos, lets be honest, no one will miss him like his personal friends and family, I highly doubt you met him. Maybe what you are feeling is the realization that you will not watch anymore videos of him that have been recorded since his death. If that is the case I suggest you be sure to scour the internet for every video that was made while he was alive, or read his writings in the form of the books and articles he left us.
