I love these old songs with LaBrie, the music is amazing from this cd. I can't believe they were so young when they wrote it.

I think the departure of Charlie had a lot to do with the age gap between him and the rest of the band, while they were touring for WDADU Charlie was like in late 30's while Kevin, John, Mike, and John were 21ish obviously if they wanted to get big they couldn't do it with a 40 year old frontman, but for whatever reason, I still hold Charlie at high regard because he is a great singer and helped put out a great debut album with a great band

I'd love if they redid WDADU with LaBrie. I guess they have no hard feelings with Charlie, and perhaps they don't want to 'erase' that part of their history with him, therefore they don't want to redo it. But I still think they should, haha.

gotta love petrucci's giant 90's sneakers!

Charlie was good for this part of the band's career, but as soon as Metropolis and Learning to Live were written it was time for him to go and be replaced by a true vocal genius...LaBrie

labrie kicks the shit out of dominici...and this recording proves it especially the massive BELIEEEEEVE notes

nah, just this song

I want DT to f**king redo WDADU in studio or make a high-quality compilation of those stuff because WDADR didn't damn do LaBrie justice. It was really nice, but it wasn't him.
I know Charlie is great, but LaBrie will always be the voice of DT for me.

I dont know, I still think Charlie fit this song absolutely perfectly. But, no matter what his vocal condition is, I always have, always will love James.
