Green Banana
tania
Sweat Potatoe(labeled as yams in the states)

I cleaned the chicken with water and vinegar

Then I seasoned it(sazon, onion spices and garlic) and added some sliced onions and green peppers.

(btw, this dish is spicy)

I put it on the stove to stew for about a hr and a half(or till the meat is almost falling off the bones)

The ground provisions takes about 25-35mins to boil. I added a pinch of salt
in the water to boil. Before I put it in the pot though, I had to cut the ends of the green banana(and a slit down the middle) and peel the tania so it could boil properly.

About a hr into stewing the chicken, I added two tea spoons of brown sugar and browning as well.

I also made some rice with the dish but was too lazy to fit it in. just basic yellow rice with sliced onions.
