  • wow i used to live in yass i never saw that ? is that up kinda near the mc donalds

  • @twistedfreak1989 Thanks for the comment - it was a the west end of Yass, near the service stations

  • Hey, I know that chaser on the ground ... LOL! Bryce! Sweet capture, how was your season this year in Australia? Bryce said they were having 'crappy thundershowers,' but at least it's cooled down in Sydney, gotten rid of the dust. 5/5 stars and favorite-ing.

  • Rather ordinary storm season this year, as per the last three !. As always with is lack of moisture depth is a problem, then when we do get moisture it tends to be through all levels.

  • We have had another two falls of dusty rain lately, thankfully not the choking air dust, but messy on the newly washed car. Bushfires may be the next concern as it has been very dry.

  • Bryce, that was definitely a funnel cloud. Good catch dude, but one thing: You were in it's path if it touched down. Remember, stay North of the wall cloud! (At least down south of the equator, up here stay South of it)

  • Bryce is the one on the video, I am the video taker and channel owner. We definitely had an eye on the movement and moved not long after this video. We saw several other features that day, including a brief funnel.

  • i no exactly where your talking about near the round about to the high way to belconnen :) looks awesome would of been mad if it actually touched :)

  • wow i used to live in yass i never saw that ?

  • Waw, really spectacular tornado, here, in this video capture !

  • @boodwah Not always true. In Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas, tornadoes travel due south or southeast quite often. One of the ones I videoed was moving SSE in Kay County Oklahoma. I saw a tornado near Cimarron Kansas moving southward also. When an east moving thunderstorm makes a hard right as the tornado forms, you will have a southbound tornado. The south movers seem to be more numerous in mid May thru June in these three states.

  • Where in Australia are you again? Gosh, I hope you get some REAL rain soon, and stay safe - fires nothing to muck about with. Merry Christmas.
