There are no words to describe this breed's loyalty. They are the best. My dog -- his name was Boris -- jumped our six foot steel gate to defend me when a pitbull tried to attack me in front of my house. The pitbull was big, but he was no match for Boris. Boris returned to the house limping and bleeding. But, he killed my attacker. Brave and loving dogs. Boris passed away from old age one year later -- he was 15 years old. Even in his old age, he had the heart of a lion.

To conclude: our dogs are in Slovenia, Austria and Croatia, with sons and doughters, I beleive, also many other countries. We alaways tried to make the best of breed and to find good owners. We hope, we succeded...

A bitch, you see in this movie is probably a daughter of Tara of Kan Trace. Mother of all those karelians is Ajka (Akina). In Croatia there was another male dog in Zagreb as well- his name was Tolstoj. He passed away already.

@rakun31 @rakun31 Have seen this post a bit late but still since posts are 2 years old I think have to reply: a male dog comes from Slovenia and we had this litter- a firs litter of karelian bear dogs in Slovenia and balkan as well. A dog is called Tapio and his sister Tara is a source of Kan Trace karelian bear dogs breedeng.
