*sigh*
This is the first time in a while that I've been upset over the fact that a movie is only available for one format and not the other(the other , unfortunately being the format I have). I hope Universal comes around eventually to Blu-ray.

Blu-Ray only won the format war because of the PS3 (and a little help from WB)

I am pleased to announce that HD DVD is close to being officially retired. Universal has already gotten the message and will begin producing Bluray titles and Paramount is expected to follow suit. Transformers, I'll be waiting for you.

Warner brothers has decided to go with Blu-ray EXCLUSIVELY. I hope this sends a message to Dreamworks and Paramount.

The Transformers HDDVD is selling really well granted BUT the contract between Toshiba and Paramount is only 12 months. In that time i believe Bluray will still be the dominant format. Mission Impossible, Shooter etc have been deleted. Lets see what happens when the contract expires. I believe Bluray will be the only format in 2 years.
