Th NYT is a reputable source? I suggest Mr. Fink remove the head from his rear end and actually READ some real journalism on the internet. Print journalism is dead and has been for about 10-12 years. He is only interested in profit. When does profit ever set the measure for good journalism?

So, I guess the twitter feeds coming out of Syria and the tweets that came out of Arab Spring were akin to "I'm washing my dog." CLUELESS! Also, if I want to be truly informed, I'm going to turn to a source that is less interested in "PROFIT". Guys like him are why newspapers are dying.

I'm sorry, but this old fella just doesn't get it. He's got this lovable old fogey caricature of new media in his mind without an adequate grasp of how new media works as an ecosystem for people who truly want to be informed (as opposed to people who simply want to be entertained, or gossip - which is different.) But then that shouldn't be surprising from someone who still talks about the NY Times like it's the acme of quality journalism.
