Telstra's new advertising campaign for the 2008 Beijing Olympics Games tells a story about the central role Telstra plays every day in the life of Australians.
Backed by a fresh recording of the iconic 'I am Australian' soundtrack, the ad aims to show how Telstra is bringing Australians closer to everyone and everything important to them. We're about bringing Australia closer to the rest of the world; bringing our athletes closer to their Olympic dreams... and the list goes on.
The campaign promotes Channel 7's coverage of the 2008 Beijing Olympics Games streamed live to your Telstra Next G™ mobile.
The ad shows people all over Australia coming together to share special sporting moments by watching the Olympic Games live in the palm of their hand on their Telstra Next G™ mobiles.

  • We are one, and we are many. To become bogged with stigma and racial discrimination thought slogans like "we grew here, you flew here" and "go on shove" stand to defy the great values and ideals this proud country was built on. All non Aboriginal Australians immigrated here, and without future immigration we would be an ageing and dying society.

  • I like the song, I don't like the ad or the cover.

  • LOVE AUSSIE, proud of being Aussie, We are Australian!!!!!!!

  • @parsizaban No reply?

So as well as being an ungrateful stinking hypocrite and an easily caught-out liar, you are also a chickenshit coward who runs away and hides at the first sign of a bitchslapping, huh?

If you're a typical example of your wacko cult membership, no wonder you were forced out of your own homeland by your own people. I can't stand you either.

Is that why you haunt YouTube mocking your benefactors - to alleviate the shame?

It must really bite being a sand nigger's nigger.

Listen to every word, if you can't get the picture I feel very sorry for you.

  • @MsSloppyseconds it's more arrogance than pride.

  • @parsizaban We sing this song because we're proud to be Australian, what's wrong with that? If you live here then you'll know we're a proud people. Go ahead make a song called I am American I couldnt care. This song is for Australians if you don't like it don't listen to it, simple.

  • @MsSloppyseconds no I'm not jealous. you can be australian like another is american or the other indian, etc. is it more special being an australian than being an spanish or french or any other? everyone is an something or a something else. but because you're australian you think you're better than an english or an arab or a chinese etc. It seems a bit childish to me, don't you thing so? shows to the world that you're racists while you try to hide this fact.

  • @parsizaban Aww you jealous?
