Snowsport HD Plow with winch

Added a wireless remote controlled winch to my plow. The plow doesn't need it to operate but I thought it would come in handy.

That's good to know. I would not have expected that.

Forgot to tell you take the winch off and take all the bolts out and put a little bit of lock-tite on them the vibration will shake it apart. Mine came apart had to buy new bolts and I put lock-tite on them and have not problem since.

@kimochsenbein - Thanks for the suggestion. I know I used lock washers but that may not be enough.

Great job. It will do a better even lift if you put 2 eyebolts side by side in the middle of the blade and connect the cable hook directly to the eyebolts. After running it through the top pulley. i have the video of the gold chevy trailblazer with the winch lift.

@kimochsenbein - I've changed it since I posted the video so that the cable pulls on a chain that I connected to both of the guides that hold the plow to the push frame and that seems to pull the blade up more evenly. I think it accomplishes the same thing you described above. But thanks for the suggestion. I built the winch frame out of an old excercise machine that was laying around. It's amazing what you can do with a cut-off saw, wire feed welder and some scrap metal.

I did not have the problem with the bolts I used to connect it to the plow it was the bolts that hold the winch together.
