Friday the 13th (NES) in 3:32 (Not-TAS) World Record #2

I beat 3:42 again, but this time with Crissy. This run was absolutely flawless, but the colors are all messed up. I messed the palettes up in Nestopia, but FRAPS definately did it good with the quality, don't you think? Try the &fmt=18 thing :) Anyway, I made few mistakes, like getting hit by a zombie on day 3, but I found a new technique. Getting through paths quicker. You don't have to be directly on the path, but near it to go up, or down it. The applies to cabins. Anyway, I found Jason near the door on all 3 encounters, talk about lucky, but it's all roughly about timing, mostly luck, it just takes some patience really. I've been trying to beat 3:42 with Laura recently but I just can't cut it. It was easier to manipulate Jason's position in the homes with Crissy, rather than Laura. I'm not sure why, but it could be his pattern. I WILL beat 3:42 with her. Don't worry. I still can't believe how good I am at this game! Anyway, I knew I messed up when I used my potion on day 3... I shouldn't have left the house, and then went into the big cabin. I risked a lot of time, and there are more spots for Jason to appear. But I was lucky. This didn't do too good, a dodge would've helped but you have to think so quickly when you're doing these runs. You CAN'T mess up. Jason's pattern followed my 4:16 run with Crissy, and my 3:51 run with Mark. All it took was some mistake fixing.

Impressive. This game continues to be my favorite game of all time, mainly because it was the first game I ever played. I would love it if they would do a current day remake.
