Here is my system for insuring that I will have charged batteries in the case of an SHTF situation. I show the solar charger that I got New from an Ebay seller as well as some of the better priced re-chargeables that I have found. Prepare for an emergency before one happens.

  • is this the best solar power battery charger for different size batteries?

  • @chitown1966 I am sure that there are better chargers out there than this one that can probably do more, but this one matched my needs and the budget that was alotted. Your milage may vary. Thank you for watching!

  • How long does this take you to charge? I would like to get this if i know how well it works.

  • @Slug365 It depends on how intense the sunlight is. If it is consistantly bright, 6 hours would charge 2 D batts. Less light = slower charge. Thanks for watching!

  • Why isn't the whole world running on these things already?

  • @Stube437 If only it could... Thanks:

  • Going on eBay right now, might get two of em. Would be a good way to barter charged batteries in SHTF too.

  • @jknacasual Thanks for getting back to me, I'm still looking for the best solar powered multi battery charger. for emergencies

  • How long to they take to charge because I got a XTG USB charger and it takes about 6 hours in the sun to charge an extra 20%-30%. so I'm thinking of getting a stronger solar panel ( probably 1000mah aka 10 volts ) with a usb connector and charging it thru the micro usb input. it saids it's has a 1500mah internal battery so I figure about 2 hours of sun should fully charge it.....!

  • @jknacasual It could do so a lot more. That's the tragedy. Far too many people are spending money on consummerism than on things like this.We were lucky in the financial meltdown...next time TSHTF we might not be so lucky!!
