I saw that movie 26 years ago spoken in spanish on TV in my country ("Telesistema" channel 11). They said that this movie was terror movie. I don´t think so, but it is a clasic. at the begginig they say that is a Edgar Allan Poe´story.
The second Lugosi-Karloff teaming (ignoring their cameos in "The Gift of Gab" in 1934). Lugosi is so over-the-top entertaining in this that you can't resist him. If "Dracula" and "Son of Frankenstein" have his best performances, this film probably has his most endearing. He is so loony. And if Karloff dominated "The Black Cat," "The Raven" is Lugosi's. Karloff really has a supporting role here. And not a great one at that. "What delicious torture, Bateman!" "Poe, you are avenged!"
Can't you upload the whole movie? I really wanna see it!

Amazing Bela Lugosi and Boris Karlof in the same movie. Both are Horror Icons.
