  • lol, this sensei is pretty.. :)

  • please i need to know how to say "this has been my report on japan"

  • @TheCrazyStudent

    you wouldnt say 昨日はパスタを食べました the structure would go like so 昨日、パスタを食べました。

    when i say it can also highlight the subject i didnt put its only for people like.

    * who is shuya? 秀也は誰ですか

    *- IM shuya 私が秀也

  • @ShuyaYamamoto

    I slightly disagree.

    が is the true subject marker. は marks the topic of the sentence. Sometimes the topic happens to be the subject of the sentence, then it's still marked with は (since がは can't be used) . ex 私は眠いです In other cases, the topic is not the same as the subject. Ex 昨日はパスタを食べました Who ate the pasta? Did 昨日 eat the pasta? No, the speaker ate the pasta. Therefore, 昨日is NOT a subject here. は marks the topic of the sentence, not the subject. が marks the subject.

  • @TheCrazyStudent

    が also can highlight a subject but its stronger.

    so if you want somthing you can say 新しいテルビが欲しいです
