HOYS Puissance 2009

Horse Of The Year Show 2009, the Puissance. It was won by Ellen Whitaker and Ladina B at 7 foot 1 inch. Her winning round is the second one in this video.
The first one was Paul Barker, who unfortunately went through the wall while I was filming. Apparently it was my fault (according to my friend) because I was watching him. Luckily, his horse got up and ran off and (as far as I know) it was unhurt. Then it's Ellen Whitaker, followed by Robert Whitaker, and then it's Paul Barker again on his grey horse. And that was when my phone ran out of memory.

It is a bit blurry, but I thought it was pretty good for a camera phone while we were sat about a quarter of the way up.

Oh, and by the way, that's not us screaming. It seems we were sat in front of Ellen Whitaker's fan club. And if you want to get an idea at how tall that wall is, at some point there is a man that walks near it... his head is under all those tiny bricks on the wall :D

No, the first guy on the bay is Paul Barker, the second is Ellen Whittaker, the third on the grey is Robert Whittaker and the last one on the dark grey is Paul Barker again :)

Haha, yeah, when we rebuild the course at local shows we try to tell the riders that if they have to knock them down can it be the jumps closer to our side of the ring!

I think unless you are as good as Ellen and the others that preformed in this video, then dont critise them as you're obviously not that good, else you would be on this and not them

Ladina B is a legendary horse. She's just amazing. She really makes Ellen concentrate and makes riding a bit more... crazy for Ellen who is probably the most talented woman in GB Equestrain at the moment (along with Zara Philips). Long live Ladina! :D

i love ladina B :) she has character, if i had a serious competition horse i would like one like ladina that messed about between jumps and took alot of riding :D
