Obama Threatens Reconciliation On Health Care Reform

A simple majority could pass most of the health care reform bill in the US Senate. That's a procedure often referred to as reconciliation. President Obama today made a veiled threat to use that process should Republicans not come up with a way of covering more Americans for health care. The GOP proposal covers 3 million Americans. The current house/senate bills cover 30 million Americans. The President mentioned a month or several weeks as a time line. Distributed by Tubemogul.

@YouTheory Obama has mentioned multiple times that if you already have health insurance, no one can force you to change your health care. And what is unconstitutional about it? It makes health insurance more fair and actually gives people more freedom. If you're against corruption and ties between the government and corporations, then you should support this bill.

He isn't mentioning the way the Union thugs pressured banks to sell people homes they couldn't afford which lead to the housing crisis - which began with Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac.........which then caused huge fallout in economy..........all by design.....so Gov gets more powerful.... if people are in control of their lives, Gov cant ctrl them....how the F do ppl think dicatorships get started........by taking pwr away from people & forcing them to be dependent on Gov...DUH!!!
