@MikeIsEvil First off, I wasn't saying that metal wasn't popular. I meant that it's not mainstream, just as you said. And no it wouldn't qualify it as being for the simple minded. The only people I was saying were simple minded were the people that listen to a certain genre of music because it's what's mainstream at the time. And I do realize that some people actually enjoy pop, rap, or whatever and they listen to it because they like it. That's their opinion and they're entitled to it.
