After three months in a maternity den, three Malayan tiger cubs ventured into the Tiger River exhibit at the San Diego Zoo for the first time on Wednesday.
i went there and got a pic of one tiger, but this was way before this vid came, so ther was only one tiger, and the tiger was so far away that the pic was blurry
They are out first thing in the morning (9:00am), and are adorable as can be! Remember that tigers are naturally solitary animals, so on some days it will be a single adult on display. Yes, the lion cubs at the Wild Animal Park are growing fast too- 140 pounds already!
dang, we just missed these tigers. but we did get to see the lions pouncing (at the Animal Park). since we have season passes we must make it back soon to see the tigers.
Mek just had two new male cubs this month (April 2, 2011) as yet unnamed. I believe they may be seen on facebook.
