April 1984 KDKA / CBS "Newsbreak" With Patti Burns & Dan Rather

Here is a KDKA TV-2 newsbreak with Patti Burns from April of 1984. Following it is an actual CBS "Newsbreak" feature with then anchor Dan Rather. Included in Rather's report is election coverage involving Walter Mondale and Gary Hart. This is back from the "KD+You" days of Channel 2. Aired prior to the initial Pittsburgh Pirates telecast of that year on the station. Clips of the Pirates extensive pre-game show for that evening featuring the legendary Bob Prince ("The Gunner") is available in a separate file on my channel. Enjoy!
