Test details:

The Ford Ranger and Mazda B Series were redesigned for the 1998 model year. Extended cab models with four doors were introduced in the 1999 model year.

Restraints/dummy kinematics — Dummy movement was reasonably well controlled. After the dummy moved forward into the airbag, it rebounded into the seat without its head coming close to any stiff structure that could cause injury. However, there was too much forward tipping of the driver seat and too much upward movement of the steering wheel.

Injury measures — Measures taken from the head, neck, and chest indicate low risk of injuries to these body regions in a crash of this severity. Forces on both tibias indicate that lower leg injuries would be possible.

  • @halflife103 Hell yeah, take the luxo leather seats out of the explorer and put them in the ranger!! Sounds like a plan.

  • @bliglum Yeah, i really like the little Single Cab RWD Splash.

I have always wanted one with a tan interior and take tha Leather Seats and center console out of a Explorer Limited and put it in one. Luxury :D

  • @JuggrnautWraith13 i think you need to learn a but more about cars.

  • Did the frame bend or was the cab and bed supports messed up to where it looks bent?

  • @slyhitman214 i never said it did good

  • @bluegumproductions So? just because it does the best doesn't make it good.

  • @slyhitman214 find a truck that does better then say it sucks
