OMNIA to the left, HTCCA to the right

Here's a side by side comparison between a Kaiser running Omnia D3D driver vs. a Kaiser running the HTCClassaction drivers. Overall the HTCCA drivers are much smoother but the Omnia driver support more instructions.

Bilboard
Winner = Omnia

Fractal
Winner = HTCCA (higher fps)
(Though Omnia displays the info text which HTCCA cant do yet)

Lightning (from object instructions)
Winner = Omnia

Lights (on object instructions)
Winner = HTCCA (Higher fps, really smooth)

Matrices
Winner = HTCCA (Higher fps, really smooth)

Meshes
Winner = HTCCA (better lightning on object)

Text
Winner = Omnia (since HTCCA dont support text)

Texture
Winner = HTCCA (Higher fps, really smooth)

It seems like HTCCA is the better one but I still use Omnia cause it seems like the call made to the hardware causes a delay Hardly noticeable but if you run them side by side itll be pretty obvious. Shouldnt be a problem in games since the driver will be active all the time, so gamers Go with the HTCCA.

After all Im just a n00b that dont have a clue, I just want my devices run as smooth as possible. =)

  • at first you said "OMNIA to the left, HTCCA to the right" and then you said HTCCA is smoother, but all I can see is that the left one is running faster than the right one

    why did you say that HTCCA is smoother?!!

  • Did you watch it in HQ? I promise you, HTCCA is smoother.

    But now there's a new kid on the block, TI have made a driver for the Qualcom, havrn't tried it yet though. To busy right now.

  • Click on the "more info" link in the right column, there's my n00b conclusions for every test.

  • where can i get the cab for my touch

  • I don't know if the touch has the same processor as the omnia and tytn II. If it's not it'll be useless on the touch.
