Elton John & John Lennon - Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds

A #1 single in America 1974! The record is credited to "The Elton John Band featuring the Reggae guitars of Dr. Winston O'Boogie". It was of course John Winston Lennon as guest guitar player. It sounds to me like he's also singing on the chorus, what do you think?

The B-side to the single was "One Day at a Time", a John Lennon song. Although he is not credited on the record, Elton revealed later that John Lennon sang vocal harmonies on that song, too!

A great single in 1974! And one of the best Beatle covers EVER!
