Not impossible but very difficult, you would need to trick the user into agreeing to install the virus. However, Trojans do exist for Macs, and hackers can just as easily remotely control a Mac. Just look at PWN2OWN 2008, a hacker was able to gain full control of the Mac OS X Leopard through a security hole in Safari in just 2 minutes.

The last Mac i used exclusively was OS7, but I was mostly making a hyperbole. I have used OSX before, and I know it's power, I just prefer windows.
