Its hard to tell if its just an illusion, but is the vast majority of this road to Yosemite downhill in this direction or mostly level (give or take)? Im planning to ride my bicycle from Mariposa to Yosemite Valley... so just trying to plan. thanks.

@MrJOSEPHMAMA it is downhill until you meet up with the river, then it's a gradual climb uphill. When you're heading into Yosemite, you're driving the opposite direction to the river's flow, and the river does have some rapids.
