I have been to Thailand twice. The first was in 1991 and it was great fun. However, the second I visited in 2009 I found it to be to be too consumer orientated and westernized for my liking and locals were very pushy towards foreigners in trying to sell their goods. Last year I traveled to Vietnam and really enjoyed the mystical landscape,people and food. I will be traveling To Cambodia and Northern Vietnam again soon.
