Player piano "Hot Lips"

This is our old Modello player piano playing an old piano roll. This is a "before" video. We are going to have it restored and will post an "after" video. It leaks air madly and sounds pretty awful now.

I'm amazed that it's still playing, sign of a well built player system. Good luck with your restoration. Before the roll goes all wonky it sounds like the QRS roll done by Pete Wendling. Hang on to that one, it'll sound MUCH better soon :)

I'm amazed that anyone looks at this. We have now had the piano restored and plays much better. I have been meaning to post a new video of it, but haven't gotten around to it. Thanks for looking.

The whole point of this video is to show a "before restoration" View. Did you bother to read the information on the right?

Your piano isn't tracking properly!!! It needs work. That was also being played at the wrong tempo! I'll post my roll of Hot Lips (which i think is the same as yours) so you can hear it. My piano is slightly out of tune, but much closer than that. Search out a local repairer or an internet site for advice, it will be so much more fun when it runs well! Good luck and treasure your player!
