schweitzer has been good for montana. you should have seen the way the gop acted at the state level here this last session. one proposed declaring global warming beneficial to agriculture due to long growing seasons and higher year round temperatures. thats embarassing. looking at the candidates for when he's term limited makes me worry. and he's right about green energy. we have like 16,000 times the landmass germany does and they have 6,000 times the renewable energy.

He followed Obama and the liberal Democrats to push the health care bill through. He thinks Obama is a great president. That pretty much makes him a dimwit.

Still, it always seems that good conservative Democrats somehow just bend to the left when it comes to national exposure. Not necessarily here, although how in the world can he stand up there w/o blushing---saying that Barack Obama would bring the same kind of government..." as he did to Montana...
This past 6 months makes one really worry...
Brian is more attuned to Ben Nelson (D-Neb)...but you'd never know it from this speech..
Nevertheless---a good guy!

This guy is giving the Federal Government hell at the moment. Even now, the state of Montana is making other states look bad when it comes to deficits. I never thought there was such a thing as a states' rights democrat, but this is one democrat I would not hesitate to vote for.
Look up his stances on the REAL ID and the recent signing of the Montana firearms sovereignty bill. The man has balls.
