The Station Fire came very close to NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) August 28-30, 2009. This video was shot from across the canyon where you can see flames behind JPL, and the fire heading to Mt. Lukens in the distance to the West. The JPL fire department assists with refilling water in helicopters on top of the mesa above JPL. Shot with small point and shoot camera.
