3 things that generally happen when you meet someone not like you,1 we try to clone them and make them like us, 2 we reject them and push them away,3 we find common ground and a place of agreement.... Yet in all three we assert one fundamental thing, that we are right... what if when we encounter someone unlike us we seek to see ourselves through their eyes and become open to the possibility that we are wrong
@confettibrains that doesnt help your point though- judging how much they actually believe i think might be a bit too futile- now if they actually went around spreading atheism you'd have a point but just because they dont go to church as much as you would like for them to doesnt change the fact that they choose to be called a believer instead of an atheist- and honestly thats exactly what my point was- theres way more believers than atheists

"bible is anthropomorphic imagination"
Example of this is how the bible writers depicted God as having a male human physical appearance, a human personality. This is because the only intelligent life humans could fathom was our own form. And that's why supernatural/divine entities of almost all the ancient religions are of humanoid figures
But it's easy to see how fundamentally wrong it is to say we require a creator, but a creator who looks like us does not require one himself

"The bible writers could predict they'd be wrong about some things"
But other things they could not predict was we'd discover how life actually works on a molecular level and where it originates. They also couldn't predict geology and astrophysics. They were certain we couldn't determine how old the Earth was and how it formed. So both on the issue of life and our planet, they wrote quite confidently and literally. And thy were absolutely wrong.

"havnt read their ancient literature cover-to-cover. If they did they would likely not be believers"
By this I mean, when reading the bible after a modern education, it is quite easy to see the vestiges of anthropomorphic imagination. The bible writers could predict they'd be wrong about some things, so they intentionally wrote vaguely and wrote self-fulfilling prophecies such as "it is prophecized people will not believe this religion, therefore making it true"

"there are so many more believers than atheists"
There is a huge difference between contemporary believers and actual believers. Now days people just like to call themselves christian/jewish/catholic and their only association with the religion is nothing more than title and a few humble visits to the church. The majority of theists in the civilized world haven't read their ancient literature cover-to-cover. If they did, they would likely not be believers

@confettibrains i doubt it- there are so many more believers than atheists that its pretty much expected that anything we do is more than an atheist- other than deny God of course- atheists take the cake on that one

"meaning true atheists commit suicide"
Suicide, divorce rates, pedophilia/child molestation, and rate of crime is higher for theists (adjusted proportionally).
