@liamperrylloyd But Wolverine Origins didn't tie into X-men 1,2, and 3

Like all films based off of comic books set in the '60s, it has a totally generic soundtrack...Yeah, like we haven't heard Green Onions before. This is what partially ruined the Watchmen film for me...Totally insulted my knowledge of classic music...Plus, there was also a very cleverly hidden racist joke.

So what are your thoughts on each of the superhero films that have been released this year? Me personally I loved Captain America and First Class, I thought Green Lantern was decent for what it was worth. But I REALLY hated Thor, because I thought it was too much like a fish out of water story for me and was a real let down.

your friend sounds like sid from ice age

good news! we will be seeing more movies like this! according to Wikipedia Fox envisions X-Men: First Class as the first film of a new trilogy.

@Connect200 Except that Stryker had a thick southern accent in X2 and no accent in Wolverine so they might as well be different characters.
-
@blowshimselfupdude yes it did. It had stryker as the man who put the metal on woverine. If it was its own movie it wouldn't have had stryker.

Shane Black Is Also Directing The American Death Note Movie.

Theres nothing about this trailer that makes me want to see it. It isnt even the first class!

blowshimselfupdude, I have to say I agree with most what you have said about the four movies, and especially about how bad the first transformers movie was, A lot people that didn't like T2 was because of the little stuff but don't see how similar they are.

I liked parts of the First Class trailer. I think Fassbender looks fantastic as Magneto, and I'm looking forward to the Hellfire Club. Other than that, I don't really have a great sense of anticipation for this film.
What pisses me off about Matthew Vaughn is that he claims to be this big X-Men fan, and yet here we are with a film called First Class, and it has NOTHING to do with that comic series, or the original team. That's like making a Fantastic 4 movie without Reed, Sue, Ben, or Johnny.

@ShadesAtKnight To be fair he didn't call it First Class. Fox just really liked the name and he's been like "Yeah this isn't that X-men first class. I wanted to do a movie about the beginnings of Erik and Charles" so the title isn't really his fault.
