As a medical doctor, I am very happy that this man has had some success with stem cells, It's just ashamed that the price is JUST TOO EXPENSIVE AT THIS POINT AND NEEDS TO BE MADE AFFORDABLE. People like this young man, need multiple treatments, and at $25,000 per treatment, it's virtually impossible to raise the money for even a single treatment, let alone multiple treatments. So sad, as it can be offered at a fraction of the price.

After 6 months of offering stem cell therapy in combination with the venous angioplasty liberation procedure, patients of CCSVI Clinic have reported excellent health outcomes. Ms. Kasma Gianopoulos of Athens Greece, who was diagnosed with the Relapsing/Remitting form of MS in 1997 called the combination of treatments a “cure”. Dr.Avneesh Gupte, the Neurosurgeon at Noble Hospital performing the procedure has been encouraged by results in Cerebral Palsy patients as well. “We are fortunate to be able to offer the treatment because not every hospital is able to perform these types of transplants. You must have the specialized medical equipment and specially trained doctors and nurses”. Had a neighbor who went to an Asian stem cell center... and their condition totally REVERSED! It was AMAZING! They got a stateside evaluation thru SCC International. Website was sccinternational(dot)info.

Do you know what exactly they had done, and where? Also, what did he have treated? Was it a neurological disorder or a SCI?

I am curious chillerguy111...is there a reason you chose Tysabri treatment, rather than say Copaxone?
I'm 51 with MS, fighting for 10 yrs. I did Avonex 2 years, and decided the risk of liver problems & the once a week yuk wasn't going to work.
My last MRI was clean, no lesions. I've heard about the Tysabri, but haven't ask anyone w/ MS about it. Please share you experience with it, so we can see the difference of it vs. Copaxone. I'm watching stem cell issues VERY closely, THANKS & good luck.

I have been on Rebif, Avonex, Imuran, low dose prednisone, etc. None of which worked. I just received my last Infusion of Tysabri on the 23rd and I have nothing but the best things to say about it. No side effects, and it got rid of the weakness after only 1 1/2 weeks of being on it. I'm not going to cry "Miracle drug" but I do think highly of it, so far. :-) Also, it is only a once a month infusion, that is sooo nice.
