  • She does represent the unwise virgin. I will post the complete document of the performance, hopefully, next week. The performance went beyond my fears and actually worked. With something, Sacred Harp shape note, this strange it is a very wild shot when your audience is mostly upper 20 year old visual artists. But Performance Art requires HIGH creativity so the - wild shot is to be expected.

  • Very strange. It's a Welsh new year carol actually, nothing to do with the Sacred Harp, and the fa-la-la-la-la bit is just nonsense syllables, not sol-fa notes.

  • Does this young lady represent one of the 'unwise' characters in your performance piece? The song definitely isn't religious, or shape note singing, or Mennonite. That said, she looks very fetching in her old-fashioned garb and bonnet! Maybe in the information box for this video you could summarize your performance piece, and tell about the part shown in the video.
