  • great video! i have tried all this and my knits just get stuck in one spot. the fabric definitely doesn't move on it's own like this, and it's driving me insane! i checked that the feed dog is going up and down and it is. i don't know why this isn't working for me....grrrrr! help?

  • @gypsytribal Have you checked that your walking foot is working properly? Other things you might need to try are making sure the weight of your ballpoint or stretch knit needle is right for the weight of your fabric, if the thread is the right weight as well and if you're using a new needle. Also if you start too close to the beginning or the edge it can get stuck.

  • what kind of sewing machine do you have?

  • @JsEstar I have a 12 year old brother embroidery machine. It's called a Super Galaxie 2000 here in Australia but it was known in the US as the ULT 2000, I believe.

  • great stuff!!! it is delivered so clearly and the video was great.

    thanks so much

  • @soopi49 Thanks :)

  • extremely helpful =] thanks =]

  • I've been having sewing lessons and I didn't know you had to use a special stretch foot, so that's very useful! I get the zig zag stitch (I was taught that too), but how do you neatly finish the edges of the seams without an overlocker?

  • I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but I'm looking for video games about fashion. I know there's Fashion Flight and the Fashion Fantasy Game, but are there any others? In particular, I'm looking for something that has a sewing center like the Fashion Fantasy Game.

  • TOP! :)

  • @MrGuy247 you can try clicking the 'like' button.

  • Very helpful tutorial, especially about the setup required!
