Clark - Growls Garden (Koko, Camden, 4th of July 09)

Chris Clark performing Growls Garden, from the EP of the same name, live at Koko in Camden on the 4th of July 2009. The crowd goes nuts when the awesome bass kicks in at 1:40! If I may go a bit 'music critic' for a moment, his performance wasn't amazing; he was essentially just tweaking knobs (and not even with the same kind of ferocious intensity as Tim Exile, who was on earlier in the night), and occasionally he would press some keys on a Moog, and LFO'd synths would occur. I guess it was more about how his songs sounded at the kind of volume that Koko's speaker system produces; that is, awesome. This and Rainbow Voodoo were the highlights of the night for me.

Turns out I should probably have turned the volume down on the audio before uploading it. Oops.

Sadly, no, this is the only video of him that I have. It really need larger storage for my camera. I did take a couple of videos of Tim Exile's set, though. He was pretty awesome.
