It's a damn shame it ended after this. As after this the Blair-Bush era of politics was ushered in and they would of had an absolute field day with it.

@AidanLunn never. its just like trey parker and matt stone initially intended for there to be the sequel. Team America 2, which would have, and still would be amazing. they could make it tomorrow and it would work. but they won't, and it's not just the cost, its the sheer EFFORT the producers have to make to create these things. i'm sure its a complete nightmare

@chloekat3 Ironically, it's the political sketches which make this show particularly memorable, especially how nasty it was to Mrs Thatcher.

@mpdalyful1 So what if it's first (of many) producers had a mental breakdown? I'm not aware the others did. And they somehow managed to move Family Fortunes out of the same studio and move it to another one. I don't see why the Birmingham studios being knocked down is something preventing Spitting Image back.
The real reason is cost. This cost £250,000 *per episode!!!!* The BBC, for reasons of political impartiality can't make it, and no commercial channel would fund such a thing now.

after this episode the studio where spitting image was demolished. and this show lead john lloyd to having a breaking down. it will not be coming back...
