Sam Harris is the author of the New York Times bestsellers, The End of Faith and Letter to a Christian Nation. The End of Faith won the 2005 PEN Award for Nonfiction.

Mr. Harris' writing has been published in over fifteen languages. He and his work have been discussed in Newsweek, TIME, The New York Times, Scientific American, Nature, Rolling Stone, and many other journals. Mr. Harris is a Co-Founder and CEO of Project Reason, a nonprofit foundation devoted to spreading scientific knowledge and secular values in society. He received a degree in philosophy from Stanford University and a Ph.D. in neuroscience from UCLA.

@onefodderunit mutation is random, evolution is not. Much like every hand of cards delt is completely random yet the house always wins because the process is not random. Pleae learn the theory of evolution. 200 years of PHD biologists around the world writing thousands upon thousands of peer-reviewed papers with facts, statistics, and hard numbers are not wrong. @charlieapeshit Well said. It is amazing how many people still have the stupidity to say they don't believe in evolution etc. They don't even understand what they don't believe in.

It is only a fact after all. But the religiose just don't have it in them to accept a fact that contravenes their bullshit beliefs.
