Turn It Off - My "Say Something" PSA

This assignment for my Production 1 class consisted of making a 30 second public service announcement that expressed our feelings on an issue we care about. I get pretty sick of people when cell phones are involved. Be it texting or gabbing away with one of those annoying little bluetooth headsets on, they make me want to strangle someone. Originallly this was supposed to take place in a drive thru, where the rudest of all cell phone offenders commit their electronic hate crimes, but I couldn't get permission for the location I wanted. Thus, I set the scene in a somewhat more familiar place. It didn't occur to me until we were shooting that this approach had been tackled before...but I don't think they did it like this.

they are rude i had a jerk to say hello i replyed hello he rudely said im on the phone , i said turn that bluetooth off befor i knock it off so rude makes me wonder if they are having imaginary people or do they listen to the voices

I can't tell you how many idiots there are out there, who continue to pull out their texting gadgets during the movie.

IT IS A DISTRACTION IDIOTS! THE GLOWING SCREEN IS A DISTRACTION!! TURN THE THING OFF OR ELSE I WILL!!!

Actually, I won't literally take it from their hand and turn it off... If anything, I might stomp on it until it turns to dust, but then I might be faced with legal issues, aside from the fact that the person might not take too kindly to me doing that...
