@PinkOld Glad you finally got it to see it and enjoyed it. Hopefully they'll also show the recent tribute shows (Gerry Rafferty Remembered) that took place at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall over there as well. Highlights from the gigs were shown on BBC2 Scotland and also BBC4 recently. Featured some fine performances by the likes of Jack Bruce, the fella Wainwright, Ron Sexsmith, The Proclaimers, Rab Noakes and Barbara Dickson amongst others.
Regards. David.

@DCHurlford1 Just saw it over on this side of the pond, all thanks to a very good bloke on your side of the pond.
Definitely was great.
Especially liked Elly Jackson's comments on "Right Down the Line."

A huge thanks to GR for providing that much needed antidote to the late seventies comically horrible disco era.
Many of us riding the bus each morning back then welcomed the sounds of "Baker Street" and "Right Down the Line," as if a window had been suddenly opened to allow a cool breeze in an overheated, overheated room.
The man.

I've been a 'Gerry' fan since a long time back, probably before a bunch of you folk were even born. He was a friend, a compatriot and a guy who helped be get through bad times, stayed with me in the mediocre times and helped me enjoy the good times. Sorely missed by a mass of folks, Gerry RIP my friend. Miss you.
"Baker Street" was a phenomenal success and rightfully so, but it also took songs like "Right Down The Line" and "Whatever's Written in Your Heart" to make "City to City" a classic album as a whole.
