@Heathenlegions You really should not be so ignorant. The bull does not always die. If the crowd feels that the bull has fought valiantly, he is awarded with his freedom. The bull returns to the ranch were he was raised for his remaining years. Bull fighting is a tradition that dates back to the Spanish War of Reconquest. If you research the origins of bull fighting, you will see it is very similar to the Olympics as far as cultural importance and the reason why it began and became so popular.
