Laura Claycomb gives a ravishing live reading of the original 1912 version of Zerbinetta's arietta. This rarely-performed version was later revised by Strauss in 1916, eschewing the F#s and paring the aria generally.

  • just imagine folks the tons of fun she has at home, it is a god damn violin in the high notes. poor neighbors though. And all the modulations, this isnt just about trill scales, arppeggios, so much goin on
