@TurboCathedral Well the blockage is probably blocking the sewer gasses to get int othe room.

@Articunoboy12 If there was sewer gas seeping into the bathroom through the empty toilet, you definitely would've smelled it as soon as you walked in; sewer gas has a high concentration of hydrogen sulfide and methane compounds.....very hard to miss. With the bathroom being on an upper floor, it's possible there was enough isolation from the sewer main to prevent any kind of outgassing, or it's possible there was still a water seal in the toilet's trap, even though the bowl was empty.

@TurboCathedral i didnt see water in that bowl. but i think that whole restroom should have been out as the empty bowl allows for sewer gases to rise

The urinal and the bowl seemed to have weak flushes. Could be a combination of the water pressure on the 18th floor and the age of the supply plumbing. What was wrong with the bowl that said "Do not use?" Was there even water in it?

That is different having the stalls with the gadget that states "occipied" and "open"

Woah guys chill out. Great bathroom with older fixtures, the urinal is a Cromwell :)

@toiletfan1 I know that so you don't have to tell me!!

One of them was out of order.
What toilets were in the other restrooms?

@toiletfan1 the one on the 20th floor was locked off as the floor was closed, 19th floor was WAY too busy to film. anyway, stay tuned as I have found SEVERAL vintage bathrooms from the early to mid 1900s.
