@garbageboycd you are right about that. But I do wonder,when companies began to employ this method did it cause a whole bunch of layoffs? I imagine it did but I could be wrong.

Ever trash barrel has a hinged top... mine don't. They'd be shit out of luck with my barrels.

Centrifugal force. And it's not that handy to have the bins open, the street will smell like a sewer the first 10 mins after emptying and if raining it would mean the next pickup youd have plenty of water to load.

@ROCKETMAN7806 It's not the we're lazy, we need to be efficient as possible. In most cases, Automated trucks such as this one are more efficient than loading the truck by hand. If you still think we're lazy check out my video called Parks and Sons underground trash collection.

burrtec had 3 of those but everytime you bring the bin down it kept hitting the body of the truck and fuked up alot of trash bins
