Hmm going by your adjustments think you will find now that even though its on freq it will jump in freq every few khz. Put it in usb mode and tune in 50hz steps though a crowded shortwave band and listen carefully to he heterodynes. You will find that it jumps in freq by a few hundred hertz at regular intervals.
