Saw someone make a rev limiter for their motor using a changeover relay....so just had to give it a shot. Not bad for under 20 bux! It's in a dirt circuit car too, which is why there's a few dents haha. - www.dirtcircuitsa.com - www.kerrbrosracing.com

  • WHAT KIND OF CHANEOVER RELAY ? WERE TO BUY PART# OR ANY RELAY

  • @pillman505 just go take a look at ur local auto parts store, they all should have them. They'll be next to the normal relays.

  • The rev limiter is possible by getting the signal from the shift light, which switches the relay and earths out the coil. So to set the limiter, you set ur shiftlight to turn on when ya want the revs to cut. In the video it's not set very high, but yeah easilly adjustable from just turning the knob on the tacho to change the shiftlight.
