@DDball a sadness indeed - but beneath it is something magical and inspiring. Silly, I know, but his perfect depiction of 21st century life is amazing. The subtle backgrounds vocals are almost indistinguishable from Matt's, but when you listen closely it just stretches the two into bliss; it's insane. I think Lemonworld, Green Gloves, and Sorrow would be good covers for you too. I might end up posting my cover of Conversation 16 soon once I get it down.

I love this rendition. You made it yours while doing the song justice. Matt's voice is like milk just pouring out of glass, and while you don't have Matt's voice, yours worked for your style. Really diggin' this man.
The good covers tend to deviate from the originals.

@PxTsik Thanks man. Yeah, Matt's voice has a special quality. There is a deep sadness in it I feel, but it works so perfectly for that style of music. I love the National.

Fucking love The National. I was in the very front row at Osheaga last summer. Great show. And you sir, did an amazing job covering this.
