The guys talk about the latest issue of Action Comics and the portrayal of violence involving women. Does Elliott object to it again? The answer may surprise you.

  • Jose I totally agree with you. Maybe I'm wrong but I see a slight parallel with the Knightfall series. Bane wanted to show Batman who was better and outsmarted him for a while. Awesome Kraven comment Jose. You're awesome!!!!

  • Thanks for the kind words farcher. Kraven will always be one of my favorite comic book villains because of that story. It really did make an impact in my life when I first read it.

  • Dark Reign is bullshit because it's just not logical. Spiderman would NOT allow Norman Osborn to take over like that he would take him down. The New Avengers are just sitting it out, but Captain America wouldn't do that. He'd go and fuck Osborn's shit up. Our heroes need to be heroes, especially in the fucked up world we're currently living in.

  • I really don't think logic is in Bendis' vocabulary FloggingMolly. Just a hunch. :)

  • I'm sorry heroes kill every day, those Navy Seal snipers that saved Captain Murphy would beg to differ

  • deemar, with all due respect to you and your service to our country (I have 2 brothers who were in the Army - one served in Gulf War1) and 1 in the Marines), but those Navy Seals would have preferred rescuing Capt. Murphy without killing those pirates - the majority of which were young, impoverished, uneducated men in their teens. In fact, if those Seals had superpowers like the Sentry, I know for a fact they would have rescued that crew without any bloodshed. Wouldn't you agree? Elliott

  • Without a doubt, Kraven's Last Hunt is one of the best story arcs of all time.

  • and let me remind you that Simon and Kirby both served in world war 2, Kirby despite only being 5'2" was a scout in the infantry during the battle of the bulge and the advance into germany

  • I may not like Bendis that much or many of Quesade's decisions, but at least they don't bore me. Plus Marvel is smart enough to balance it with titles like Cap MI13, GoG, Agents of Atlas etc..for me it's about balance. I like both

  • Agree on Sentry, Superman level heroes. A Daredevil, Ironfist, Question hero not so much. Although it's comics so yeah sure no bloodshed would be better.

I'm just saying for me personally I get bored with the neat & tidy finish, since Civil War Marvel have really caught my attention they've taken risks and raised the stakes with significant changes. I appreciate that as a reader.

  • Have you proof of Simon and Kirbys Captain America killing german troops? If not, then retract that statement.
