This video compares the MAC Cleansing Towelettes to Kirkland (Costco brand) Cleansing Towelettes.

MAC 45 pack - $21.50
MAC 100 pack - $31
Kirkland 150 pack - $13.99

I find these to be very comparable products in terms of performance and quality. The biggest difference (for me) is in the price.

Both:
- Are moist cleansing towelettes
- Quickly remove face and eye makeup
- Are gentle enough for sensitive eye area
- Have a subtle perfume smell
- Are exactly the same size

Kirkland brand:
- Has a textured cloth

Thanks for watching!

  • You're back, you're back! (I've been checking every day to see if you posted a new video 'cause I just love your reviews.) Haha, I love the makeup math. It totally speaks to my inner nerd.

  • Aww you're so sweet! Ya I've been gone for a little while because a) my camera had some issues, and b) work has been crazy lately!! :( But I'm so glad to be back.

HAHAHA I was worried I might confuse some people by rattling off all those numbers...but I guess that's largely what my BOAB series is about, so I'm SO glad I could appeal to your inner nerd!! :D

  • dang, thats amazing.

  • Hahaha I'm glad you enjoyed the video :) Thanks for watching!

  • awesome thanks! i go to costco and i didnt know about the kirkland wipes, so thanks!! =]]

  • Yaaa if you're interested, definitely check them out next time you go. I think it's a great product! :)

  • Yeah, I use Walmart brand "Equate". MAC is ludicrous and so are the poor girls who buy into their hype. Most of their products are able to be purchased at a lower price point somewhere else. You're essentially just paying for the name "MAC". Great review, sorry for the rant, lol.

  • I totally love your BOAB videos! I haven't been using face wipes, because they can get expensive if you use them every day and night.. but now I can get them from Costco! Thanks for the video :] I'm excited for my next Costco trip lol

  • Cool! I go to costco a lot and never looked for these. I'll check it out. This is good timing because I needed some new wipes. Thanks for the taking the time to make a detailed review. It really helped me.

  • I only use make up wipes for travel (which i do alot of tbf) and if im too lazy, usually i use my neutragina oil free one (:

FYI for all though ; if you buy the tea tree make up wipes (superdrug/boots) PLEASE dont use is when ur tired, as you may be inclined to use it to remove your eye makeup INCLUDING waterline -

    IT FREEKING HURTS PEOPLE!!!! ;\

so yeah.... Dont be an idiot like me :D

  • Thanks for showing the Costco packaging, I should have expected it to come in a huge box, but I didn't know about the mini sized packages inside :) Thanks!

  • Great info!! Very helpful. Do you whiten your teeth?

  • The MAC wipes burn my face, but the Kirkland brand is very gentle and does not irritate my skin at all. The Kirkland brand does not contain lanolin - an FYI to those of you allergic to lanolin like I am.

  • very informative and helpful! thanks!!

  • Great review. Went into in depth detail. Will try them out and also will try out the baby wipes that one of your viewers suggested......

Enjoy reviews like this where you do a side by side comparison.

  • i just use baby wipes (vitamin E and fragerence free) and they work just the same at a fraction of the cost. the wipes are bigger so for heavy dutty makeup days, you still only use 1 :)
