My officemate got goosebumps just listening to this group...she doesn't even like choral music, now she had a change of heart.

@koushirou ..yes..I made a wrong guess here...its actually simply means 'Jamming', in a polyphonic sound. Unaccompanied and unconducted.

@dipulos Nah, madrigal means a part-song for several voices, especially one of the Renaissance period, typically arranged in elaborate counterpoint and without instrumental accompaniment.

to littlelamb23 - the university of utah singers has got too many members and the voice quality is not that powerful. MADZ (as philippine madrigals singers are fondly called) still rules!!! =)
