This is video comparing the iPhone 4 to the iPhone 3G and 3Gs (which are almost exactly the same on the outside). The iPhone 4 is much thinner, and heavier, because its made out of glass and aluminum instead of plastic and glass. The iPhone 4 has a much nicer screen than the iPhone 3G/3Gs and also it much thinner.

iPhone 4 vs. iPhone 3GS: Worth the Upgrade?
Apple says that the

To get your own ringtone just google a site where u can download ringtones or if u want a song u haveto shorten it just put it in iTunes under Ringtones and sync ur iPhone
